A must-visit for all those interested in assessing and know the religious and architectonic patrimony of Asunción de Guanabacoa Village`s urban historical center, the name of this village was conferred by King Felipe V of Spain around 1743. In fact, its foundational history can be traced a long time before. It was declared National Monument since 1990 due to the treasure living in its streets. This journey has its highest moment in the visit to its Municipal Museum, where veracity and ethnographic wealth is combined to the deeply Cuban mixture between African and European cultures.
